Spice Girls. That would be the best fun ever. But it would have to be back in the day when it was all five. Maybe I could be ... Emo spice, or Goth spice because Goth was Emo then? I have no idea.

I would invite: Michael Hutchence, Sid Vicious, Kurt Cobain, Gary Oldman, Oscar Wilde, Douglas Adams, Bob Dylan, Drew Barrymore, Kate Hudson, Kate Miller-Heidke, India.Arie, Carl Jung, Einstein, Heath Ledger, Dalai Lama and close family and friends.
Topics to discuss: Music, literature, philosophy, art, creativity, the afterlife, the subconscious, higher self, people, the world.
Topics to avoid: War, negative topics, bitching about other people, that kind of dealio.
Food: Cupcakes, salads, nibbley food, vegetarian dishes, alcohol for the 'party' souls, cookies, milkshakes, fruit, raw vegetables, steamed rice, sushi and chicken.
It would be an interesting meeting of minds really. I think I would be slightly out of my depth in conversation but it would be an awesome place to be and find the exchanges between people. I can imagine Sid, standing alone in a corner thinking 'Fuck, 'is is boring' while Douglas Adams comes over and asks 'what's up old chap' in a way that you could swear Arthur Dent had said. Michael and Kurt heavily discussing who had the better band while Carl Jung and the Dalai Lama have some enlightened discussion and most of everyone else is running doing God knows what. Where God is probably also present, and she is thinking 'Wow, this is a party'. | comments: Leave a comment |

2009 is almost over, only a few more hours and 2010 will spring upon us like a tiger stalking in the grass. I hope 2010 brings a lot of happiness and joy for everyone, it’s about time! I hope that for myself it will be much better than 2009 and be about good news and positive energy.
It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t make a list of the resolutions I want to keep for 2010.
- Loose weight and be healthy
- Work hard in school
- Get good marks on my HSC
- Keep positive and be thankful for what I have
- Get my drivers license (heh.. maybe? ;D)
- Be adventurous and do something I wouldn’t normally
- Keep an active blog (har har har)
- Write a book and have it published
- Read 50 books in one year
I think that is the major ones. *nod*
Dad and I played our annual game of cricket. He won, but he played a good game. We have been playing it for over ten years on the 31st of every December. Except last year we couldn’t because he had just had his operation for cancer and couldn’t do much of anything. In some ways, being able to play again was a much a celebration of overcoming that hurdle, even if it came back and he has to have more treatment. It was however, nice to have that hour where we just forgot and enjoyed ourselves in a family tradition.
Speak to you on the other side, unless the world ends and we will really be on the “other side” hahaha. Oh. Cross posted from Kya.nu - Entry. | comments: 4 comments or Leave a comment |
| PLEASE tell me I am not the only one thinking stuff like this (HA, I always wanted to say this stupid line...*gets shot*)
- "I feel the zomg funny/weird/mindbork articles/links/images fit better on my Twitter." - "I found something really interesting: WHERE DO I POST THIS THING?!" - "I am not updating my LJ enough Ever Since Twitter." - "My LJ posts have become less entertaining." - "LJ posting rate has gone down EST" (<spammer mentality) - "My LJ friends do not know me anymore EST. Except for the ones on Twitter." - "Mind battle: LJ friends vs Twitter followers" - "One icon isn't enough! I want multiple Twitter icons like in LJ." - "My attention span to make a normal blog post has disappeared EST." - "I introduced Twitter to my friends, but I have the feeling the posting rate of my friends has gone down as well." - "I post more at LJ communities than my own LJ nowadays." - "The golden days of my LJ are over. Enter the dark age." - "If I post something short I feel like spamming my flist." - "I posted this post in my LJ to up my current rate." - "I want a client that updates my Twitter and LJ." - "My LJ posts sometimes resemble a snippet-like twitter history."

| Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone around the world. I hope you have a truly magical day.
I had a very nice day with family. Laughing and coming home to the little kitten who is a bundle of joy. He is sitting on my keyboard as I type this now purring away. *snuggles* So gorgeous! Cross posted from Kya.nu - Entry. | comments: 6 comments or Leave a comment |
| Hope everyone's having a good day. As for me, I'm not doing anything special as usual. But! Here's a Christmas card! It's kind of silly and made in flash and I'm singing Jingle Bells in Japanese on it.
Last ep of KB today :( But SayMove and TT are down :[
Results of previous post is not exactly what I wanted. Though he seems to be around the right age and not too young or too old. Need to fix him later. | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
